I haven't been able to finish my painting yet, but I am getting there, step by step "poco a poco", perhaps this weekend?
I've had a little more time to paint the last few days, and I finished one big painting this week which I've been working on for a month now.
Well I'm gone - to continue with this one, hasta luego!

My painting for IF this week is unfortunately not finished yet, and I don't see that I will be able to finish it before Friday, but here it is, oil on canvas, 81x100 cm, first layer painted. I will update when I can ;)
I was looking through my sketches last Thursday and found the sketch for this one and woke up on Friday with an urge to paint it.... So cool to see the topic for this week later that day, "clean",.... I started to paint as soon as I could that evening.....

Since I haven´t been having a lot of extra time lately, I decided to post this pastel drawing I did few weeks ago, since it has some skyline in it ;) Instead of doing a new image, I used my time to look through the other skylines in IF..... and well, I am also trying to finish some unfinished oil paintings I have all over my place.....

A typical Icelandic "summer", RAIN -and storm, -or almost, at least no chance to use an umbrella, you get wet anyway!!

I must say that I don´t miss those Icelandic summers...

I decided to dance along the last minutes this week. :) -All paintings are painted this year and the medium used is oil on canvas. The first two are painted in January, 33x55 cm - and I call them Dancers 1 and Dancers 2, -the blue one is since May I think, and is 30x60 cm, called Midnight Dance. I don´t have the time to do anything new for now, I have been too busy lately.

I painted this painting when feeling down, after a goodbye moment with my mother, not knowing when I would see her again.

I call this painting "Hug", oil on canvas, 54x65 cm.

I think this oldie fit for the theme this week, FAT....

Painted 1998, oil on canvas, 60x70 cm and one of my own favorites, it always put a smile on my face :)

The new IF looks great, now I only have to experience how it is working......I will try to find me some time to have a look at the other participants this week....it´s always a great inspiration to see what you all are doing!

I could not choose between those two paintings for this week theme, SPRING, because I think both of them fit the subject ;)

The first one I painted in January, oil on canvas, 81x100 cm, and wears the name "Field of Happiness".

The second one I painted in September/October last year, also oil on canvas, 60x73 cm, "Two on the road".

This week subject fitted quite well for me, and I found it rather funny, because I started with a new painting yesterday..."HANDS".......

But, I decided to let "the hands" wait, and participate in IF instead, so I started paint a new painting as soon as I came home this evening.
