There's something very soothing about the dark tones of this painting...it makes me think of a quiet cup of tea (or coffee for me) early in the morning when i'm the only one awake. very nice:>

Tremendous colors here. Warm and toasty. I like the crumbly cookie (skone, maybe?) on the side. The steam from the cup will clear our heads. Cool.

i love the tiny details in this work. it works very well, especially with this gorgeous background you have chosen. i love your work!
pastels are the perfect medium for an image of tea! after you commented on my 'feet', i checked out your site, and am now inspired to go home, pull out the pastels, and get to work! great image, very comfy!
